Tutor - Part-Time Pooling


Summary of Position's Responsibilities
  • Provide individual or small group tutoring to participants
  • Incorporate study skills development into tutorial sessions
  • Submit participant contracts/progress reports to Academic Coordinator
  • Assist in designing activities that will enhance the academic skills of participants
  • Participate in tutoring training
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Earned at least 30 credits
  • An overall G.P.A of 3.0
  • Minimum of a B average in relevant courses
  • Two recommendation from previous or current instructors
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates, Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Prior Tutor experience
