Brief Summary:

The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at Marist College is seeking applications for adjunct faculty members in the various areas within the Medical Laboratory Sciences. We are in need of two adjunct instructors to teach at our partner institution, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, starting in July of 2018. These faculty members will work closely with students, clinical affiliate faculty and on-campus faculty. The successful candidate will join a well-established (30+ years) yet growing main campus program that is NAACLS accredited and focused on providing an excellent education for students seeking careers in the medical laboratory sciences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are especially in need of an instructor that can teach chemistry and/or hematology courses. Instructors will teach undergraduate lectures and/or labs at NYC locations.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have nationally recognized certification in medical laboratory science/medical technology (MLS/MT generalist), hold or be eligible for a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license. Master's degree preferred, but not required. Experience in a medical laboratory and medical laboratory science education required.
