Degree and area of specialization:
MD, DO or MD/PhD; Must be Board prepared or eligible in Hematology/Oncology and/or Medical Oncology.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Clinical and research interest in hematology/oncology.; primary area of lymphoma. Completion of accredited fellowship training program. Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines.

License or Certificate:
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.

Position Summary:
The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) and the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin is seeking applicants for a full-time professor, associate or assistant level hematologist/oncologist with an interest in clinical and translational research in lymphoma to join our faculty.

The successful candidate would provide direct patient care, lead dedicated disease-specific research staff and have access to substantial programmatic research funds. Clinical research is conducted in the UWCCC by 16 multi-disciplinary Disease Oriented Teams and is supported by the UWCCC Clinical Research Central Office (CRCO). Clinical research conduct is overseen by the CCSG-mandated Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee and the Data and Safety Monitoring Committee. Over 70 UWCCC investigators regularly enroll patients to therapeutic intervention trials at UW Hospital and Clinics and at our 1 South Park Street clinic.

Total compensation targets AAMC benchmark for Associate and Full Professors.

The UWCCC and the School of Medicine and Public Health offer a competitive start up package to tenure candidates. Candidates should have an M.D. or equivalent degree, and be board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology. The Division of Hematology/Oncology is part of the Department of Medicine and the NCI-designated UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Division is active in all phases of cancer therapy development and evaluation.
