Guest lecturers are often locally or nationally recognized leaders in their industry, who bring professional experience to the classroom, engage and connect students with Kendall's "ready for the world" opportunities and give a different perspective to the curriculum and insight to the student learning outcome. Guest lecturers work in a part-time capacity and will either guest lecturer for either 3 or 5 two-hour sessions for a particular course per quarter.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Course Instructor to connect to the course content and outcomes
- Create and perform one engaging activity with the students per guest lecture, including but not limited to coordinating field excursions.
- Enhance the relationship of the Industry Professional into the classroom to make a real world connection to the content
