Summary of Position Tenure-track 12 month position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy. Individuals with experience in community, ambulatory care and/or inpatient practice settings along with commitment to the teacher/scholar model and service are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities consist of clinically-focused didactic core and/or elective teaching of pharmacy skills, therapeutics, self-care, and/or calculations based on department needs and instructor interest/expertise. Additional clinical practice opportunities may exist based on the interest of the individual and need of the department. The individual will also be expected to develop individual or collaborative research consistent with the mission and vision of the College. Additionally, the individual will contribute to the Department, College, University and profession through participation on committees, providing pharmacy services, continuing professional development and mentoring students.

Required Qualifications

Required Education Pharm.D. with post-Pharm.D. residency, fellowship, or relevant knowledge gained over a period of at least three years in a health care setting.

Required Work Experience Postgraduate residency or at least three years in a health care setting.

Required Licenses and Certifications Eligible for licensure in Michigan. State of Michigan Pharmacy licensure required prior to completion of appointment
