Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree in educational administration, higher education, or student affairs, and 5 or more years of professional work experience in student affairs, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a demonstrated understanding of the issues faced by students who are members of diverse identity groups that comprise our campus population.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current student development theory, current leadership development theory, and leadership program planning.
• Evidenced ability to supervise staff and student employees.
• Experience with program planning and event management, as well as campus center management and club and organization advising.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Press.
• General knowledge of program presentation technology (sound & lights, etc.).
• Evidence of strong interpersonal communication & writing skills.
• Individual commitment and dedication to serving as a leader in an inclusive community which strives to provide an equitable and engaging experience for all students.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student development.
• Experience working as part of group and a proven team player.
