We anticipate the need for faculty with teaching ability in various areas of mechanical engineering, such as mechanical design, manufacturing, computational methods, and/or thermo-fluids. We seek individuals with enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to communicate complex technical topics to students. Evidence should be provided regarding the ability to teach a broad range of mechanical engineering subjects. Candidate applications should identify specific courses that match their expertise.
A successful candidate must be ABD or have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline at time of appointment. Clear evidence of the potential for teaching excellence is essential, and a strong interest in continued professional development is expected.
