Program Support Supervisor 2 - ICWRTC


Job Summary

The College of Social Sciences Social Work at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a full time Program Support Supervisor II for their Family Resource and Training Center (FRTC) located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.


Under general direction, this position will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Center. Other responsibilities include: provide programmatic support to the Director; manage program data and contract compliance; independently advise staff and the public regarding the Center, its programs and the University; act as liaison to local organizations; coordinate special projects; conduct trainings; and provide technical and administrative support to the Center, as needed.


Position will supervise program support staff in the performance of duties associated with the Center. Position will consult with the Director to devise and implement new procedures, and exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying center policies, guidelines and procedures.

This position requires an overall understanding of the mission of the FRTC in the context of partnering with a statewide agency. The person filling this position is a point of interface between the university operations and IDHW operations. Typical Duties:

Required Qualifications:

•High school graduation or equivalent AND three years of experience in the program specialty, which is defined as providing complex program support services beyond entry level support work.


OR


•Bachelor's degree in business administration and two years fulltime experience with involving budget and administrative management, including supervisory experience


To be considered qualified for this position, you must meet the minimum qualifications defined above, AND you must meet ALL of the qualifications listed below:


•Strong computer skills demonstrated by two years successful full-time work experience using a variety of software programs and working in website development and maintenance.
•Be detail-oriented and organized;
•Have strong prioritization, time management, and follow-through skills;
•Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
•Capacity to effectively address diverse constituencies
•Two years experience managing multiple and complex budgets.
•Two years experience maintaining both manual and electronic records and files involving systems which include at least 500 records and/or files.
•Two years full time work experience with demonstrated success in successfully handling a demanding workload with overlapping deadlines and which required great attention to detail, strong communication skills (both oral and writing), perseverance, and initiative
•Superior interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to apply a culturally responsive and flexible approach that is sensitive to the needs, including universal access, of the parents, families, administrators, agency representatives, and our community partners as well as the requirements of the program, Eastern and the State of Washington.




Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience in a university or college setting;
•Direct experience or familiarity with grant writing.
