Visiting Faculty in Marketing

The Freeman College of Management at Bucknell University seeks a full-time visiting faculty member in Marketing beginning in fall 2018. This two-semester position will span the 2018-2019 academic year. The successful candidate will be able to teach the introductory undergraduate Marketing course taken by all undergraduate students in the College. Other courses may be determined based on the successful candidate's area of expertise. The teaching load for this position is six course sections per academic year. Reappointment for a second year is possible contingent on satisfactory performance and administrative approval.

A record of excellence in undergraduate teaching is required. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of the Ph.D. degree or equivalent. Persons with substantial professional experience and holding the master's degree will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The approximately 550 students in the Freeman College of Management choose from among four highly interdisciplinary programs that combine courses in the various disciplines of management with offerings in the arts, humanities, natural and social sciences, and engineering. The College's four major programs include: Accounting & Financial Management; Global Management; Managing for Sustainability; and Markets, Innovation & Design.
