Brief Summary:

The Marist Upward Bound Program is seeking applicants for the summer program, which runs from June 24 through August 3, 2018, generally Sunday-Thursday. All of the following positions are contingent upon funding. Full-time positions must live on campus for one training week beginning June 18 through June 23, and while students are in residence from June 24 through August 3, 2018, Sunday-Thursday. Instructors and counselors must attend an afterschool orientation on Wednesday, June 21 and post-program activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Tutor/Counselor must have good academic skills and tutoring ability/experience in math, science, social studies, and/or English.

Qualifications:

Must have experience working with youth, and the ability to supervise or conduct recreational and athletic events. Applicants should be enrolled in college and have completed at least one year of college. Education, psychology, or social work majors with a cumulative average of 2.5+ are preferred.
