The Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine is seeking a board eligible breast surgeon for a full-time faculty position; academic rank and track (tenure or non-tenure) of appointment will be commensurate with education and experience. Successful candidates must have completed an accredited general surgery residency, a breast surgery fellowship and be board certified/eligible with the American Board of Surgery.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in comprehensive Breast Surgery in both the clinical and research context. This position joins an active Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Program within the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute, boasting triple accreditation from the NAPBC (National Accreditation Program of Breast Centers), NQMBC (National Quality Metrics of Breast Centers), and the ACR (American College of Radiology). The candidate will participate in operating room and ward teaching, and advising, train and direct activities of surgical trainees and medical students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution; full and unencumbered license to practice medicine in Ohio; certification or eligible for Certification by the American Board of Surgery; completed an ACGME-accredited residency and in General Surgery and a SSO-approved Breast Oncology fellowship; applicants should demonstrate commitment to teaching and research.
