This position will work with a team of 3 large animal internal medicine faculty, 4 large animal surgery faculty and 2 large animal ultrasound specialists. Clinical service will include emergency back-up for interns and medical and surgical residents on nights and weekends, as part of a faculty rotation, and approximately 7 weeks of daytime clinic duty in Large Animal Medicine per year, if the clinician has an Internal Medicine background. Medical and surgical cases must be managed afterhours, including all aspects of surgical colic cases, if the clinician has a surgical background.
