The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of North Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2018.  The College of Business is AACSB accredited, and both the Computer Science and Computer Information Systems programs within the department are accredited by ABET. An earned doctorate in information technology, computer science, information systems or a closely related field is required.  ABDs will be considered if all degree requirements are met prior to appointment.  Priority may be given to candidates with experience and interest in teaching cybersecurity, human-computer interaction, or software development. Responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate teaching, online and on-campus course delivery, academic advisement, scholarly research, and university service. Involvement in professional organizations and engagement with the professional business community are encouraged.  The review of applications will begin immediately.
