Job Summary
IT Help Desk Assistants work under the direction of the Information Technologies Help Desk Manager assisting summer program students and staff with computers and printers in the Scribner Library and public labs. Duties will include maintaining printer supplies and keeping user rooms neat and orderly. Assistants may be asked to make small deliveries around campus, move computer equipment, and check public computing facilities in multiple buildings. Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word for Macintosh and Windows, as well as general Internet use. Evening and some weekend hours will be required for the part-time position. Training is provided for printer maintenance such as removing paper jams and replacing paper and toner.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in IT support preferred.
