Degree and area of specialization:
MD, or DO, Anesthesiology

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Completion of anesthesiology residency program, and certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology.

License or Certificate:
Wisconsin medical license or eligible, BC/BE anesthesiology, fellowship trained in pediatric anesthesiology, and experience or fellowship trained in pediatric cardiac anesthesia.

Position Summary:
This is a position for a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist primarily to provide clinical anesthesia care with occasional teaching opportunities to residents and medical students.

This position will be a dual appointment with UW Madison and UW Medical Foundation.

For appointment at the Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor level, candidate must have sufficient documented academic work to meet appointment requirements to Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor within requested time period (UW School of Medicine and Public Health Guidelines for Appointment or Promotion of Clinician-Teacher Track Faculty to Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor).
