ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and area of specialization:
-MD or DO or Equivalent
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult or Child Psychiatry with a firm plan to complete certification requirements.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-Successful completion of residency in Psychiatry.
-At least one year of clinical experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders preferred.

-Candidates for clinical associate professor or clinical professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the Clinician-Teacher track.

License or Certificate:
-Wisconsin Medical License obtained by start date.
-DEA certifications obtained by start date.
-Credentialed with UW Health managed care plans, credentialing and staff privileges at UW Hospital, UnityPoint Health Meriter Hospital, and VA Middleton must be completed by start date.

Position Summary:
This position will primarily provide psychiatry care to a variety of pediatric outpatient care with some coverage of adult outpatient care. This position will also supervise and mentor residents/fellows/trainees.
