This position is responsible for advising fraternities and sororities in four different governing councils and specifically advising the National Pan-Hellenic Council and Multicultural Greek Council. This position is responsible for the academic support of the fraternity and sorority community along with the standards and awards process. This position also serves as a resource person for students and the University community on issues relating to Greek Life such as recruitment, community service, leadership development, and compliance with university policies. This position supervises a graduate assistant.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's level degree in higher education administration or related field of study, or a bachelor's degree in higher education administration or related field of study and related experience equivalent to a master's degree. Considerable experience in a higher education setting. Considerable demonstrated knowledge of best practices for fraternity and sorority community advisement. Some demonstrated knowledge of umbrella group ( NPHC , NALFO , NMGC ) policies and practices. Considerable experience in a higher education setting preferred with a fraternity and sorority community. Considerable knowledge of student development theory. Considerable ability to foster interpersonal relationships in a multicultural campus environment. Excellent skills with computer applications including MS Office and social media platforms. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise programs and special events. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff in a wide variety of university committees, departments and/or student organizations to develop and implement programmatic initiatives. Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Considerable experience in a higher education setting with a fraternity and sorority community.
