Position Description:

 

Under the supervision of the Director, Facilities or the Custodial Shift Supervisor (Graveyard Shift) of the appropriate shift (Day/Swing or Graveyard), performs general custodial duties related to the maintenance and cleaning of assigned facilities (group of buildings, classrooms, restrooms, or office spaces) in a clean, orderly and secure manner, following a predetermined schedule. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

 

Experience:

One (1) year verifiable full-time experience in any custodial, grounds, maintenance, shipping/receiving, or other construction/trade related position and be physically able to handle the job responsibilities involved with the care and cleaning of buildings and facilities.

 

Education:

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade

 

Other Requirements:

 

• A valid California driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy. • Must understand, speak, and read English at a level required for successful job performance.
