The Lab Technician assists in the cultivation, maintenance and expansion of mammalian cells and organoids in support or a range of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine studies. This includes characterization of the cells with various assays, along with daily/ weekly lab maintenance tasks in maintaining and expanding the cells, as well as standardized assays in support of their characterization. In addition, genetic modification of the cells will involve various molecular biology techniques for selective control of cell functions.

Basic Requirements:
- Minimum requirement is a B.S. in biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering or bioengineering or related background.
- Some biological laboratory experience is required.
- Background in cell culture essential, in molecular biology helpful.
- Background in biology with mammalian cell culture experience, experience with molecular biology techniques helpful.
