Position Summary:
The Enterprise Systems Cloud Engineer position will create, implement, and manage the technical operation of cloud technology solutions for enterprise applications. The successful person needs to bring an enthusiasm for learning and desire to understand and develop expertise in cloud technologies, containerization platforms and applications. This position uses Docker, Kubernetes and related technologies to provide a reliable, scalable platform for enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information systems or related field or equivalent training and/or work experience
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, including requirements, analysis and documentation, and the application of information technology to solving business needs.
• Demonstrated experience in design and delivery of comprehensive enterprise-level technology solutions.
• Broad understanding of technology architecture and the complexities of enterprise-level applications.
• Excellent Communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience implementing and maintaining Docker clusters using Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS -potential problems, and how to setup and manage a service in the cloud.
• Understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP /IP, DNS , SMTP , HTTP , TLS , SSH , PKI and distributed networks).
• Significant experience with Linux/ UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks.
• Extensive knowledge about APIs. You can integrate RESTful services with other data providers, and you know when to use JSON or XML .
• A commitment to best practices with ability to define operational processes, implement DevOps, deployment checklists, and more.
• Experience developing or supporting solutions in Docker.
• Experience with different databases, including working knowledge of SQL , relational data stores and maybe even NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing software with object-oriented languages like Java.
• Experience using configuration, orchestration and automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
