Psychology Lecturer

Duties include teaching four courses per semester in support of our on-campus undergraduate degree program, undergraduate advising/mentoring, and departmental service. Opportunities for online teaching may also be available.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
The successful applicant will have demonstrated skill in providing effective instruction in both in person and online environments. The successful applicant will possess the skills needed to successfully advise and mentor undergraduate students.

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
All applicants must hold a PhD in Psychology or provide evidence that the PhD will be completed prior to July 2021.

None.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with the interest, qualifications, and/or experience to teach and develop courses for one or more of our core undergraduate curriculum areas: Introduction to Psychology, Methods and Statistics, Biological Bases and Cognition (e.g., physiological psychology), Personality and Social Processes (e.g., social psychology), or Developmental Changes (e.g., lifespan development). Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated excellence, or potential for excellence, in teaching.
