Position Summary:
Application Developer collaborates with business and technical teams across the university to deliver solutions critical to the success of the Division of Human Resources. Application Developer works independently on small and large development projects and may lend technical expertise on various systems issues and topics. Application Developer is expected to lead the designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting effort of all Division of Human Resources systems suite of applications. Application Developer will assist in identifying and extracting critical data for metrics/reporting to key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. A lesser degree with significant equivalent training and Experience may be considered in lieu of B.S. degree.
- Must have demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server including database configuration, data structure design, writing SQL queries, creating views and stored procedures, and integrating those databases into web based applications
- Must have demonstrated development experience in ASP / ASP . NET , VB/VB. NET , and C#
- Must have demonstrated skill, understanding, and experience with client-side scripting
- Must have demonstrated skill, understanding, and experience with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
- Must have effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with supporting Data Warehouse operations and Data Analytics tool such as Microstrategy
- Experience with managing or supporting Human Resources applications
- Experience with CAS
