Lead Assistant Teacher

Position Summary:
Lead Assistant Teacher works collaboratively with curriculum planning and implementation, and documentation of learning experiences with the Child Development Center for Learning and Research Curriculum Director. This position also works collaboratively with the Center's faculty, staff, students, and families to support amiable partnerships in a learning community, and provides administrative support to the Center as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in child care, child development, or early childhood education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in curriculum planning and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to assist in documentation of learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in child development, early childhood education or related field or equivalent training or experience.
- Supervised experienced in working with young children in groups.
- Teaching experience.
- Experience working with social constructivist, inquiry-based approaches to education and Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education.
