Duties and Responsibilities | BASIC FUNCTION : Assist the Head Football Coach in all phases of an NCAA football championship sub-division program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Directly responsible for either defensive or offensive football positions. In addition to coaching and recruiting responsibilities for these positions, responsibilities include hands-on monitoring of all academic concerns for student athletes with regard to academics, eligibility, study hall supervision and grade checks. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Comply with all NCAA , University and Colonial Athletic Association policies and regulations. Perform other duties as required. Required Qualifications | REQUIRED : 1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Demonstrated college and/or professional coaching experience. 3. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills. 4. Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 5. Demonstrated proficiency with organizational skills. 6. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations. 7. Appointment is subject to NCAA violation report clearance. |
Preferred Qualifications | PREFERRED : 1. Demonstrated college recruiting experience. 2. Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching. |
