POSITION:
The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective August 2018. The individual hired will be required to teach mathematics courses across the baccalaureate spectrum, conduct scholarly activity, and provide service to the Department and the University. This position is contingent on the availability of authorized funding. Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Mathematics Education with a Master's degree in Mathematics; or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics; or equivalent. PREFERRED Qualifications:
A candidate's consideration will be enhanced by providing evidence of teaching experience, as candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Preference will be given to those individuals with experience or training in Mathematics Education, or who have a strong interest in Mathematics Education.
