Position Description:

University of Northern Iowa's Department of Theatre seeks applicants for a Production Manager beginning August 2018.

Responsibilities include: managing the Department of Theatre production cycle and facility usage; teaching the Department of Theatre's stage management course; planning, scheduling, and facilitating the annual Iowa Thespians Festival; contributing to the maintenance of the Department of Theatre website; and securing royalty rights and overseeing the procurement, distribution and collection of scripts and scores.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre required.

Required Qualifications:

At least two years of experience in production management and at least one year student mentoring experience required. Frequent weekend and evening work necessary.

Desirable Qualifications:

Master's in Fine Arts and a degree emphasis in stage management preferred. One year teaching experience at the college level and budget management experience also preferred.
