Visiting Assistant Professor, Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Wheaton College (MA) invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning in the Fall of 2018.

Wheaton College provides our students with an educational experience that affords them the opportunity to explore interests in the field in a supportive environment that cultivates curiosity, passion, and career aspirations.

This position will teach three courses per semester, including Brain, Mind, and Behavior (Introduction to Neuroscience); Drugs & Behavior (Introductory Psychopharmacology); Quantitative Research Methods; Introduction to Psychology; Laboratory in Behavioral Neuroscience; and an upper-level course in an area related to behavioral neuroscience.

We seek a colleague who shares the College's commitment to social justice, multicultural competence, and informed global citizenry. The department and the College provide a supportive context for the development of new colleagues. Research facilities and funds to support scholarship are also available.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Psychology as of Fall 2018 term.
