Graduate Admissions Counselor - Office of Graduate Admissions, School of Arts a

The Office of Graduate Admissions processes the applications and inquiries for the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and the School of Engineering. Graduate admissions partners with graduate faculty and deans on the coordination of all aspects of student recruitment, communications, marketing and management of more than 3,000 applications to the respective 30 departments, and 70 programs.

The Admissions Counselor works with a professional Graduate Admissions team to fulfill the enrollment objectives set by the Dean for the school. They conduct local and national recruitment, lead group information sessions for prospective students and represents the university at schools and college fairs during travel to assigned recruitment territory. The Admissions Counselor will assist with the department s analytical processes including the tracking of applications in order to provide information to Deans and graduate departments on an ongoing basis. This individual partners with the Director on the management of specific recruitment initiatives such as publications or marketing strategy.


Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and up to 2 years of related experience as a student employee or professional in a secondary school or institution of higher education.

Special Work Schedule Requirements:

Position requires travel.
