Position Summary:
These positions are only available to Virginia Tech Students.
Virginia Tech's Housing and Residence Life ( HRL ) is a large organization which operates 47 on-campus residence halls housing approximately 9,300 residents. The Planning and Operations department has maintenance and housekeeping employees to specifically support such a dynamic environment.
Planning and Operations Student Workers will provide maintenance and housekeeping assistance to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Workers may provide additional customer service support to the department, as needed. Documentation and tracking within the Work Order System may be required.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to interact effectively with various levels of users and occupants of buildings and facilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision and to operate within a team based environment. Excellent customer service skills a must.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service environment
