Brief Summary:

Marist College invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting to join the School of Management beginning Fall 2018.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will involve teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses (including online courses) and maintaining a high level of professional activity through research and service.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching and research in accounting. Candidates with an interest in financial accounting are preferred, although candidates in all areas will be considered. While a Doctorate in accounting or related field or an anticipated completion date during the Fall 2018 is preferred, candidates possessing a master degree in accounting with extensive experience teaching accounting along with CPA licensure will be considered for this position. Professional experience and other certification in addition to the CPA (e.g., CFE, CMA, CIA, CISA, etc.) are also desirable.
