Physical Requirements Requires standing and walking. May require lifting/pushing/carrying objects up to 10 pounds.
Shift 3rd shift/Nights. Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Job Summary Position includes the following:
-Registration for ED and Direct Admits
-Copay/payment collection at time of service
-Customer Service
-Medical Records release of information
-Front desk receptionist functions.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
