Position Summary:
Provide direct support to the Engagement Finance team by providing fiscal assistance. Duties include program reconciliations and closings; monthly departmental reconciliations and reports; developing and updating training and procedure manuals; Banner fund set ups; providing backup for HokieMart data entry; supporting the Assistant Director of Finance / Program Accountants as needed and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Previous work experience in a business or university environment; experience in accounting, finance, or related fiscal activities; strong computer skills with working knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications; ability to analyze numbers; demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy; strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher in accounting, finance or related field; experience with HokieMart, Banner and Database entry.
