Patient Registration Coordinator - Craniofacial Pain Center, School of Dental M

The Department of Craniofacial Pain at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is devoted to the diagnosis and management of Temporomandibular Disorders and chronic head, neck and facial pain. We incorporate true multidisciplinary approaches to the treatment of complex pain problems. With a diverse group of pain physicians, dentists, and psychologists, the center provides a range of services for Craniofacial Disorders, Dental Sleep Disorders and Headache Disorders.

Under limited supervision, provides excellent customer service, greets patients, inputs and/or verifies patient information, enters approved patient treatment plans, responds to patient inquiries and schedules and confirms patient appointments to maximize clinic space. Performs financial functions (collects payment, makes adjustments to patient accounts) and provides administrative support. Performs other related duties to assist in the management of the department. Provides leadership to fellow staff members.


Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
  • High School degree/equivalency and 3-5 years of job related experience.
  • In depth knowledge of dental/medical software, codes, Microsoft Office and dental terminology.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dental Coder Certification preferred.
