Summary of Position Assistant professor of medicinal chemistry, tenure-track, 12-month position in
the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Teaching responsibilities include medicinal chemistry content in a team-taught integrated Pharmacotherapy module-based course sequence in the second and third-professional years of the doctor of pharmacy curriculum; in addition, offering an elective in a related area will be required. Responsibilities include coordination of a portion of the integrated pharmacotherapy course sequence and an elective course offering. Commitment to the teacher-scholar model is expected with emphasis placed upon excellence in teaching and complementary research and service. The successful candidate must articulate well-defined teaching and research interests. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Required Education Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacognosy or related field.
Required Work Experience Evidence of research/scholarship related to area of specialty.
