Assistant Professor, Computer Science

Applications are invited for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor in Computer Science to start in the Fall of 2018. A strong commitment to teaching is expected, along with an active research program. Research interests in data science, machine learning, and cloud computing are especially welcome, but all areas will be considered. We seek an innovative teacher who values interdisciplinary work and can share computational thinking with our vibrant, entrepreneurial-ready community.

The computer science program at Wheaton College is expanding and is housed in newly renovated facilities. Teaching load is five courses per year with opportunities for team-teaching and contributing to a revision of our curriculum. Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD in computer science or closely related field at the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:
