Assistant Professor, Marketing

Position Summary:
The Department of Marketing in the Pamplin College of Business, invites applications for an Assistant Professor position for our Blacksburg campus. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Department of Marketing; advise undergraduate and graduate students in marketing research, advanced research methods and econometrics; and pursue a program of research that leads to the publication of empirical modeling in major academic journals in quantitative marketing. Department and university service will include committee and outreach activities as appropriate to the faculty member's rank and expertise.

Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Marketing, Management Science, or related field, completed by appointment start date.
Demonstrated academic accomplishments in marketing.
Potential for excellence in scholarship in marketing or related area.
Expertise in empirical modeling and data analytics.
Instructional capabilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Occasional travel to attend professional conferences and meetings.
Must have a criminal background check.
