PHILOSOPHY FULL TIME, TENURE TRACK FACULTY

 

The Harper College Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of either Assistant Professor or Instructor. The department is deeply committed to enriching our diverse communities and inspiring the transformation of individual lives, the workforce and society, and we welcome applications from all individuals whose backgrounds and expertise enable them to contribute to our department and college goals.

 

The successful candidate will be able to teach a wide variety of introductory philosophy courses to students of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of college readiness. Requirements:

• Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Philosophy
• PhD in Philosophy preferred
• Teaching experience strongly preferred
