Assistant Professor, Business and Management

The Business and Management major at Wheaton College (MA) invites applicants for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor in Business and Management beginning Fall 2018. We seek a colleague who shares our commitment to integrating the Business and Management major within a broad, interdisciplinary liberal arts curriculum, and who will contribute to the continuing development of a vibrant, growing business program with an innovative, collaborative culture.

The ideal candidate will be able and willing to teach a combination of courses including Organizational Behavior, Business Management and Responsibility, Senior Seminar in Business and Management, as well as contribute to the major s coverage of courses such as Fundamentals of Business and first year seminar. The candidate may also have the opportunity to develop new courses related to their area of specialization. We seek an innovative educator who will incorporate experiential learning with theoretical learning into teaching focused on current approaches to the field.

Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD/ DBA in Management, Organizational Behavior or closely related area by August 2018 is preferred, and an MBA , prior teaching success, and scholarly production are also valued.
