Position Description:

Provides academic and career advising; advises new and current students; provides program development and coordination; and identifies students and provides outreach services for academic advising programs.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in college student personnel, counseling, higher education or related field required.

Required Qualifications:

At least two years of advising or related experience at a higher education or post-secondary institution required. Extensive knowledge of higher education academic programs and services and excellent communication and human relations skills also required. Graduate student experience will be considered. Occasional evening and weekend work necessary.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience teaching a college level first-year transitions course or career exploration course preferred.
