The Position:  The College of Business is searching for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Health Care Management to start in August 2018.
 
Minimum Qualifications:  The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a doctorate in health care administration or a directly-related field.   ABD will be considered; however, the doctorate must be completed by December 31, 2018.
 
Preferred Qualifications:  Preference will be given for a doctorate from an AUPHA-accredited program.  Evidence of superior teaching is highly desirable.  Industry experience is highly valued.
 
Responsibilities:  This tenure-track position carries responsibilities in the areas of teaching, scholarship and service.  Faculty members typically teach four sections per semester, advise students, serve on university and college committees and engage in professional development activities.  Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the college.
 
Salary:  Salary commensurate with education and experience.
 
The College:  The College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with four emphasis areas:  Accounting, Financial Services, Health Care Management and Management/Marketing.  The primary focus of Lander University is teaching and the College of Business emphasizes a student-centered learning environment.  The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International.
