Administrative Assistant Office of Donor Relations

Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant performs necessary internal and external functions in support of the Office of Donor Relations & Campaign Events. This person supports the Director of Donor Relations and two Associate Directors with events, correspondence, reports, and other projects to engage Skidmore's highest level donors. Due to the nature of work in this area, the Administrative Assistant must be able to handle volumes of confidential information. The successful candidate must be flexible, well-organized, adept in multi-tasking, attentive to detail, highly technically skilled, possess superior proofing, editing, an desktop publishing skills, be articulate, and able to interact effectively and positively with high-level donors and volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience previous work experience in an office setting; experience in fundraising, as a legal secretary, or paralegal preferred, but not required. Knowledge of various software applications including Advance Web, Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, desktop publishing, and web maintenance tools. Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail, superb writing and editing skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
