Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience (advancement, marketing, communications, sales, customer relations, financial or legal etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be detail oriented and able to balance multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and proofreading skills required. Must be able to communicate with a varied college constituency.
• Strong skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software required; familiarity with Windows and Macintosh environments preferred.
• Must be comfortable and creative as a computer user, interested in using technology to streamline activities. Ability to adapt to changing technologies is essential.
• Ability to deal with confidential information with complete discretion.
• Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with volunteers or working in a higher education, legal, or financial setting preferred.
• Must be well-organized, capable of working independently as well as in a team, and have good prioritization and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace. Flexibility and the ability to shift direction mid-stream are necessary to meet deadlines.
