English/Digital Writing - Lecturer

We seek a Lecturer (non- tenure track) in Digital and Technical Writing to begin Fall 2018. The successful candidate will teach four sections per semester to include digital writing, technical writing, and composition courses. Classes are taught in both face to face and online environments, primarily through ODU's live interactive WebEx. This hire will also serve on relevant committees and perform student advising.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
College teaching experience required; ability to teach both online and traditional classes.

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
MA or MFA in English or related field.

Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification

Preferred Qualifications
Academic background in rhetoric and composition and/or professional writing. Strong knowledge of HTML , CSS , and new media. Demonstrated experience teaching technical and professional writing
