Position Summary:
The Department of Basic Science Education at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine ( VTCSOM - http://medicine.vtc.vt.edu/) is recruiting several new faculty at the assistant, associate or full professor levels. The medical school, located in Roanoke, VA, has a unique partnership with Carilion Clinic, graduated its first class in 2014, and maintains a class size of 42 students. The VTCSOM curriculum has a problem-based learning delivery model that integrates patient centered learning and student research/discovery into four value domains - basic science, clinical science, research and interprofessionalism.
