POSITION:
POSITION TITLE & DESCRIPTION: The Department of Management, Operations, and
Marketing invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Human Resource Management
appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor for Fall 2018. The teaching assignment for this
position will be primarily fulfilled at our Stockton campus.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human
Resource Management and must possess a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited doctoral institution at the
time of appointment.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:

Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence as evidenced by
strong teaching evaluations by students. Ability and experience in teaching a variety of
Management courses is preferred. Research is required; the candidate must be able to
demonstrate the potential to publish in refereed journals appropriate to the field of Management.
Faculty members are also expected to make a strong service commitment to the College of
Business Administration, the University and the broader campus community. Industry experience is
advantageous.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT and THE COLLEGE: The Department of Management, Operations, and Marketing
offers concentrations in Management (Human Resources, International Business, and Strategy/Entrepreneurship tracks),
Operations Management, and Marketing. The department is part of the College of Business Administration, an AACSB-
accredited program. The College also offers a Master of Business Administration degree, and an Executive Master of
Business Administration degree.

CAMPUS & AREA: California State University Stanislaus serves the San Joaquin Valley and is a critical educational resource

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CLEARANCE NOTICE
