Part-Time Lecturer in Anthropology

POSITION:
Lecturer in Anthropology. The Anthropology Program invites applications for a pool of part-
time lecturers from candidates qualified to teach undergraduate anthropology courses. Because
program needs can vary from semester to semester, applicants are encouraged to identify any
of the following areas of coursework they would be qualified to teach in: introductory and
upper-division courses in cultural anthropology; biological anthropology; and archaeology.
Candidates interested in teaching more advanced courses should indicate the range and depth
of their relevant professional training.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:

M.A. in Anthropology with compelling evidence of strong teaching and fieldwork experience.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Anthropology. Evidence of impressive undergraduate teaching and a strong record
of fieldwork.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CLEARANCE NOTICE
The university requires a criminal background check to be completed for all of its new employees, current employees
