We are seeking an adjunct professor to teach Research Methods and other undergraduate psychology courses at the Derner School of Psychology.
The candidate should have a PhD in Psychology or a closely-related field, and be able to teach a Psychological Research course to undergraduates. The candidate should be familiar with and be able to teach the use of SPSS. The candidate should be proficient at guiding students through completing a research project from start to finish. The particular course we are trying to fill is a 4-credit course that caps at 14 students and includes a 3-credit lecture that meets twice a week as well as a one-credit lab that meets once a week. The ability to teach other courses in our department (e.g., Statistics, Developmental Psychology, Writing in Psychology, History of Psychology) is preferred, as we are frequently in need of adjuncts for these courses.
