Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of the Large Animal Clinic, its facilities and grounds. Assists in receiving supplies of animal feeds, hay, straw, and wood shavings. Insures a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and hospital staff at all times. Assists with animal handling and restraint when necessary. Students encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:
Experience in general large animal husbandry duties; experience cleaning and maintaining animal facilities; experience working with, handling and restraining various species of large animals; must be able to safely move and handle 50+ pounds; Must be able to tolerate Rabies prophylaxis (provided by employer).

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience driving a forklift; experience driving a standard shift truck with a goose-neck trailer.
