Summary of Position Adjunct Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach at our Big Rapids, MI location. The English, Literature, and World Languages Department has an available opening for Spring 2018.
Teaching and related responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching first year Spanish courses, utilizing face-to-face, mixed and/or online modes of delivery. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.

Required Qualifications
Required Education Master's degree in the areas of Spanish, Spanish Linguistics and/or Spanish Language Acquisition/Pedogology.
Required Work Experience Previous experience or education in teaching a language.

Duties Teaching 100-level Spanish courses, utilizing face-to-face, mixed and/or online modes of delivery and assure learning in consultation.
Assuring learning through assessment, close consultation with program faculty, and professional development activity.
Submitting syllabi to the department and participate in departmental assessment of courses.
