Skidmore College invites applications for a nine-month, part-time position in the athletics department for an assistant crew coach. Responsibilities will include coaching, at practice and in competition (including instruction/coaching through videos), assisting in daily practice preparation and training, recruiting prospective student-athletes, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. The assistant coach is expected to communicate and develop a rapport with the student- athletes, faculty and alumni. There will be limited facility, home game, management and or equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required with successful coaching experience at the college, club or high school level preferred. Rowing experience of two or more years at the colligate and/or open level required.
